You may not have the time to commit to helping older people – why not show your commitment by sponsoring a Grandma or Grandpa (an older person) that needs day care services. Give them the chance to come out and socialise, enjoy a hot meal, undertake activities and receive necessary health and wellbeing support.
Many older people are feeling isolated and may not have the support of family and friends in the community. Grace provides good social support where they can come and meet lots of other older people who are in similar circumstances. They are able to get door-to-door transport with access to a range of activities that includes; singing, chair-based exercises, arts, crafts and much more….
You Can Sponsor-A-Gran by Donating:
£5 – this will provide a 2 course hot nutritious meal for an older person.
£10 – stop loneliness by providing transportation to the day care centre.
£45 – support an older person to have a complete day care package at the centre.
